Rachel was a chartered accountant for 25 years and now uses those skills to take care of the business and administration of Your Calmer as well as heading up our meditation and creativity for wellbeing programs run through our business divisions: Corporate Calmer; and Neptune and the Moon. She is both a certified meditation teacher and yoga teacher and she’s always busy creating in one form or another.
Rachel’s long-standing yoga, meditation and creative practices were key to her recovery from a health crisis in 2013, offering self-compassion and grounding. These tools have also served to enhance and enrich her life with the qualities of mindfulness and gratitude. It’s the wonderful, healing aspects of these activities that have inspired Rachel to share meditation, art and craft with workplaces and the community to demonstrate how they can improve and enhance wellbeing.
Rachel facilitates mindful art and meditation workshops in-house or at your workplace or community group, and she also offers one to one meditation or mandala/zentangle sessions for clients seeking a personalised service. Rachel also composes commissioned mandalas, rich with personal symbolism, that make a unique bespoke gift to be treasured.
